ESPN's 2009 Preseason Power Rankings

ESPN's weekly College Football Power Rankings is comprised of 15 reporters/bloggers from the world wide leader that hardly rivals the CBS Sports' Blog Poll. However, ESPN did release their preseason poll yesterday with Nebraska in at #19 so it now becomes newsworthy. For the entire poll, click here.

Joe Ganz is gone, and the Huskers give the QB keys to Zac Lee in '09. He's thrown only two passes at Nebraska, but the running game, anchored by a solid offensive line, should help with the transition.

Interestingly, Pat Forde and Rece Davis were the lone two of the 15 that didn't rank Nebraska at all. Ivan Maisel, ESPN.com senior writer and a closet Husker fanatic, voted the Huskers at #12.
