This is the time of the year for football fans to finalize their road trip plans for the 2007 season. I’d like to offer one suggestion for a kickass Huskers-NFL double-dip.
On Saturday November 3, Nebraska takes on Kansas in Lawrence. Mangino’s KU teams have given Nebraska fits lately and this might be a better game than you think. Lawrence is always teeming with Husker fans and KU is also one of my favorite college campuses.
Then on Sunday November 4, the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Green Bay Packers at 12:00 pm in KC. This game would give fans a chance to see Brandon Jackson as he attempts to take over for Ahman Green and the Pack.
If I lived in Nebraska I would definitely consider this trip.
