The right reasons are to get his degree, to play tremendous football, to help this program in the future, and it’s about team, it’s about Nebraska, it’s about what we have going on here. And he was totally on the same page as I was. He’s an unselfish football player, a great person, the kind of person you want to be the focal point of our football team.”
I still say it's a wise investment. Now that Oklahoma's Gerald McCoy is returning to school as well, the Big 12 will feature the two best defensive tackles in college football in 2009.
