Bid On Nebraska's Throwback Uniforms

Huskers.com is auctioning off every last one of the throwback uniforms that will be worn on September 26th vs. Louisiana-Lafayette. The auction began Sunday morning and will last until Wednesday, Ocotber 7th.

Every number - 'other than Nos. 20, 60 and 64 (permanently retired jersey numbers for Johnny Rodgers, Tom Novak and Bob Brown) and Nos. 61, 72 and 97 (numbers not currently assigned)' - will go to the highest bidder (minimum $500) and by the looks on things so far, you better be ready to pony up. For example, although Ndamukong Suh has already sweated through his #93 jersey, his uniform is currently sitting at a cool $1,700 as of this post and there are still 51 days to go.

If you want to make a bid or if you want to simply see how the auction is going, click here and have at it. 'Funds generated from this auction will directly benefit University of Nebraska student-athletes.'

And no, the winners of DXP's college pick 'em contests will not be getting a throwback uniform.
